Nice hike along the big Ohe. A better view of the gorge and the stream you have when you walk from the bottom up; is more exhausting, but it's worth it. When wet, the path through the many roots quickly slippery, as is stable footwear of advantage.

The gorge is challenging to hike. Lots of stone obstacles and roots on the way. But it's still a lot of fun. The path runs largely in the shade of the trees and can be walked well on hot days.
We actually wanted to walk a circular route, but the gorge and the path were just too beautiful.

There are numerous views of the Große Ohe River. The trails are beautifully varied. Caution should be exercised in wet weather. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
