Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS, Cyrillic Нафтна индустрија Србије – НИС; meaning: Petroleum Industry Serbia) is an oil company from Serbia. It was founded in 1991 and sold to Gazprom in 2008.
The company's main activity is the exploration of gas and oil in Serbia (mainly in Vojvodina) and the production, import, processing, transportation and marketing of hydrocarbons (oil and gas). NIS is based in Novi Sad.
NIS has 11,000 employees and operates 500 petrol stations throughout Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
