    Very very nice section of the route in the Franconian.

    Steinfeld has approximately <400 inhabitants and belongs to Stadelhofen in the Bamberg district.

    This is where the Wiesent, 🚣🏻‍♀️one of the largest rivers😉 in Franconian Switzerland, originates, near Forchheim it flows into the Regnitz.

      Wiesentquelle. The Wiesent is a right and eastern tributary of the Regnitz and the main river of Franconian Switzerland with a length of 78 kilometers. The Wiesent spring is located in the west of Steinfeld, a district of the municipality of Stadelhofen. It is a contained karst spring between the houses of the village, which rises in the reef dolomite of the Franconian Jura.

        Parked a car at the source and then comfortably cycled the entire Wiesent to Forchheim. Very quiet, scenic route with little incline that starts with a nice highlight.

          The Wiesent source is located in Steinfeld on the B22.
          Access to the source leads through a homestead which can be driven freely 🚴🏼‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️ is no problem.
          The nice thing is to follow the Wiesent on the B22 in the Wiesental, because it goes steadily downhill with the river. More or less first to Hollfeld, then on via Plankenstein and into Franconian Switzerland. The best thing to do is to have a cappuccino in Behringersmühle and go on, wherever 😊 ....
          The Püttlach up to Pottenstein or right off with the Wiesent to Streit. But then don't argue if the 26% increase has to be overcome in a dispute 🚴🏼‍♂️🚴🏼‍♂️🚴🏼‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️🚵🏻‍♂️💨
