From the Iseler side, the Bschießer is relatively easy to climb; from the Ponten, it becomes a bit more alpine. Evil tongues claim that the mountain isn't actually more than 2,000 meters high and is therefore a Bscheißer. :D

“Bschießer”, or in Tyrolean “Bscheißer” means that avalanches or debris can be expected to “shoot down” the mountain. Anyone who climbs this mountain will believe this when they see the jagged southern flank. But the terrain is not only steep here, the marked hiking trails to the summit also require surefootedness and fitness as you follow the serpentines. Once you reach the top, you can let your gaze wander over the Tannheimer Mountains and the Allgäu Alps.

Not that crowded and is a good beginner tour. Take sturdy shoes and something to drink with you. Simply enjoy.

On the way from the Zipfelsalpe it is very easy to climb the summit, it goes steadily, but not too steeply, and the path is actually never exposed. From the Ponten it is much steeper at the end, but much more varied and beautiful over the sufficiently wide degree.

The ascent from the Zipfelsalpe is for the most part quite steep, but easy to walk on. On the summit you have a great view of the Allgäu mountains and surrounding peaks. The summit of the opposite Ponten can be reached in about 35 minutes from the Bschießer. Unfortunately I had to omit this because of a bad weather warning.

Great hike. Sturdy footwear should be available as it is quite stony to the summit cross. We did the tour with the children, so no problem.

Did the tour on June 1st of this year and should have listened to our landlady Resi.
There was still so much snow up there that we could not have climbed either of the two peaks safely. Disappointed, we had to turn back on the steep wall below the summit cross of the Bschießer and descend the entire route to Hinterstein, past the Zirleseck and Willersalpe. It went down on its knees !! But it was still an unforgettable trip !!

Fantastic 360-degree view! ⛰️
A very easy hike at first, but a bit more challenging towards the end due to the gravel and slightly steep slope – but easily doable for any passionate hiker :)
