The Archaeological Park Xanten (APX) is an open-air museum with Roman buildings reconstructed on the basis of original foundations near Xanten. After some extensions, the park covers almost the entire area of the former Colonia Ulpia Traiana (CUT). Part of the park is the LVR-RömerMuseum Xanten, which until 2006 was located in the Xanten city center as Xanten Regional Museum (RMX).
