In addition to a general store and a hairdresser, there was a petrol station in town. The gasoline was first sold under the Tydol brand before 66 contracts were later signed with Philips. Francis and Marie Lynn Ryan from Kansas recently bought the entire place and put a lot of time and energy into the restoration, especially that of the gas station. All signs and equipment come from their own collection. Quenton and Cathy Stockham added an antique police car to the collection, although Spencer was always too small to run his own police station.
