The Sudmerberg (354 m above sea level) is located east of Goslar above the Sudmerberg district, which owes its name to the mountain.
From the control room you have a good view of Goslar, the Brocken, the Harz foothills and the towers of Halberstadt.
It's a shame that the control room is closed due to dilapidation !!

The Sudmerberg Tower, also called Sudmerberger Warte, stands on the summit of the Sudmerberg. The former watch tower was built around 1400 and is approx. 12 m high.
From the observation platform of the observation tower you have a beautiful view of the city of Goslar and the Harz foreland. The tower is stamped number 108 of the Harz hiking nobility.

Easily and quickly reached via the small "Bergknick" car park. The view over the ascent in the southwest is more beautiful. Here the view extends to the Brocken and the Eastern Harz.
