Barry Flanagan is the "Keuing van't Zwin".

It is a nice work of art that can be seen from afar in the dune landscape. This giant hare is regularly in the spotlight. Flanagan the hare stands for freedom, independence, dynamism, fertility, strength and individuality. The hare and not the rabbit, which is more likely to be expected in this biotope, has stood for hospitality here since 1997 and that is a concept for the seaside town of Knokke.

About the British artist Barry Flanagan. He was one of the most striking figures in post-war sculpture. His works can be understood by the broad layers of the population throughout Europe, North and South America, Asia, Australia, ... Using a classical language of form, he dealt with themes such as the situation of the individual and the artist in society.

De Haas suddenly appears in the dunes, at the end of the Zeedijk. Or, as the Knokkaren usually call it, it's fine.
