Mónsul is a 400-meter-long beach surrounded by rock formations of volcanic origin on its sides and by an immense dune of fine sand at its back. The beach faces south and the entrance gap to the water is very progressive, which makes it ideal for children. The water is transparent and being shallow, it feels warm. It is highly recommended to take diving goggles to snorkel and see the fish that surround us. The sand is fine and golden, very tasty and pleasant, although it is difficult to shake it off when you go to get in the car. We advise protecting electronic devices such as telephones and cameras because this grit gets everywhere.

The great Dune of Mónsul is an almost obligatory visit for bathers because from above you have a splendid view of the beach and the landscape that surrounds it, fields and mountains without any vestige of buildings or electrical cables. If you decide to climb it, especially in summer, don't forget your flip-flops, the sand burns a lot and halfway up our feet will burn.
