The asphalt connection through Ghassate was re-surfaced in 2021 and has since become a very wide asphalt road. On the one hand it rolls wonderfully, but in this bare plain it also gives the feeling that you can't get ahead. Towards the south you have a nice descent here, the other way around a long slow climb.
