The Goldseetrail is legendary: This trail is one of the most spectacular descents that mountain bikers can do on this planet.

From the Stilfser Joch (2,757 meters) it's up to the trilingual peak to the Rifugio Garibaldi. Then follows a never-ending trail pleasure with a unique panorama. Constantly along the slope, constantly vis-a-vis the glaciated Ortler.

Important: The Goldseetrail, which is also popular with hikers, is closed to mountain bikers every day from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You should definitely stick to that! If you want to ride in the morning but don't want to leave the valley in the middle of the night, you have two options: either you sleep at the top of the Stelvio Pass or you take one of the many bike shuttles in the area.

The Goldseetrail is demanding and only recommended for technically good drivers!
