    The Sackdillinger rock labyrinth is opened up by a 2.6 km long circular walk (marking: "rock tour"). But actually it's better to go back and forth from Sackdilling to the lookout point! The vantage point is, as is so often the case in the Franconian Switzerland-Veldensteiner Forst nature park overgrown and uninteresting!

        Just a few minutes' walk from the former Gasthaus Sackdilling you dive into an impressive labyrinth of rocks. The "rock tour" marking reliably guides you through the blocks.

              Impressive impressions! You get from above over a now completely overgrown viewpoint that was at least once secured by an iron railing and surprisingly you get an unexpected rock landscape when you descend. Unfortunately I didn't have a lamp with me to go into the cave. So .... lamp in the backpack!

                  The impressive rock labyrinth of Sackdilling consists of a large group of rock blocks and reef rocks. Below are numerous large blocks. There are several caves in the rocks, e.g. the Kleine Bauernloch (approx. 35 m long) and the Große Bauernloch (approx. 50 m long). A marked hiking trail ("Felsentour") leads 2.7 km through the rock labyrinth.

                    The Sackdilling rock labyrinth is a natural treasure in the middle of the Franconian Switzerland - Franconian Jura Nature Park. You can find it in the northern Franconian Jura. This impressive highlight is located in the municipality of Königstein, about 7 kilometers south of Auerbach in the Upper Palatinate. At an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level, the Sackdilling rock labyrinth extends over an area of 60,000 square meters. The size of the labyrinth is about 400 meters in length and 150 meters in width. It is a place that fascinates with its unique formation of boulders and reef rocks. Numerous large boulders form a labyrinth in the forest and create an impressive backdrop.
