    The summit of Montaña Blanca is relatively easy to reach and still offers you a fantastic panorama. The mighty, red-brown rocky desert spreads out below you and above you the peak of the Teide towers into the blue sky.

        If you want to end the Teide hike at Parador, park your car there and take Bus 348 to Puerto de la Cruz, leaving at 16:00 from Parador to Montaña Blanco Stop (2€)

          Great view above the clouds and a fantastic view of the Teide and the whole national park in general. You should be careful on the gravel paths and definitely wear hiking shoes. All in all, the tour to Montaña Blanca is not too difficult and very manageable. A great experience that makes you want to climb the Teide.

            The flat top doesn't give much. The optically beautiful scree path is difficult to walk.
            The 0.5 hour detour is not worth it if you are going up the Teide.

                  Montaña Blanca is an impressive hiking destination in Teide National Park that offers spectacular views of the surrounding volcanic landscapes. The trail is easily accessible and suitable for hikers of all fitness levels as the climb to the summit is not particularly steep. It is best to start early, especially on hot days, as there is little shade along the way and the sun becomes very intense as the day progresses.

                          I'm trying to change it up a bit.
                          Title should be:
                          "Hike car park Montana Blanco"
                          Roughly at this point there is a small parking lot for hikers, which is almost always occupied (even at sunrise). Hiking trails lead from here to Montana Blanca and via the Refugio de Altavista to Mount Teide.
                          At the beginning of the hiking trail, a number of boards refer to the nature reserve and rules (see photos).
