This natural gem is definitely worth a stop at any time of the day or year. Rare and protected plants such as B. the orchid, the pasque flower and the snowball. The summer root, which can be seen there in June, is particularly fascinating. The best time for me as an early riser is dawn and sunrise. Further information can be found at:

Rosenau alluvial fan > a geotope (excerpt from the Bavarian Environmental Atlas)
The Rosenau alluvial fan is a flat, Holocene gravel cone that lies only slightly above the surrounding terrain, but has hardly any soil cover and is clearly separated from the surrounding agriculturally used floodplain areas in terms of vegetation (poor grassland). The gravel cone probably belongs to older Holocene gravel sequences that were no longer reached by later floods. Part of the gravel body is disturbed by the railway line and old gravel pits.
