Zeven, the town by the forest. A visit to Zeven is definitely worth it. The center is the town hall and the adjoining pedestrian zone. Opposite is the city park with historic buildings such as the St. Viti Church, the former monastery or the district court. The “Christinenhaus” is also nearby.
Plenty of hikes are possible from the city park along the “Northern Paths” through the adjacent forests. There are plenty of opportunities to eat and drink.

The center and visual identification of Zeven are the last remaining buildings of the mighty medieval monastery complex from the 12th century, the St. Viti Church and the Zeven Monastery Museum. The museum is open on Thursdays and Sundays from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. A group visit can also be arranged outside of these times (see offers)
