      The baroque castle Neusorge - once the place of work of the great Swedish humanist Ella Brandström - dominates the townscape of Zschöppichen. Ella Brandström, known as the Angel of Siberia, ran the children's home and orphanage at Neusorge Castle from 1923 - 1931.
