A nice cycleway running from the Border with croatia to Mostar. Built over an abandoned railway this route is rideable with gravel and mountain bike. There are several ghost villages and old stations and everything looks forsaken. Be aware that on this first part of the cycleway you will NOT find supply until Zavala. Bring a lot of water if you ride it in the summer hot.

Really nice bike path! The border region with the many ghost villages is very exciting. However, it is oppressively hot in the summer months! Take plenty of water with you and take enough breaks!

I drove the railway line in 2024 as part of the route from Dubrovnik to Mostar. A lot of gravel and a small part of it was rough, but it was still a fantastic tour. Great scenery and found a great wild camping spot. Highly recommended.
