Fritillaria meleagris the checkerboard flower .. Actually a spring bloomer in the home garden. But in the Rhön there are some places where they bloom freely in the wild .. A delicate lance-like green foliage with a bell-shaped flower hanging in a checkerboard pattern .. From Bordeaux berry white you bloom in the typical pattern.
