Wonderfully quiet valley with no roads or traffic, there is only the field path and the Swabian Alb Railway. The path is bumpy from time to time and has potholes, but the juniper heather slopes and the landscape are incomparable.

A gently ascending, well-graveled cycle path follows the railroad tracks to Mehrstetten. The path leads through the middle of the nature reserve with forest and juniper heather. No street noise disturbs the enjoyment, only the little-traveled railway line, on which you can see the Ulmer Spatz or similar railcars, leads through. The path is suitable for all cyclists. The incline is gentle and the path wide enough to avoid one another. You should always have something to drink with you, between Sondernach and Mehrstetten there is no way to buy or refill something.
