The Rijksmuseum is the most important museum in the Netherlands, but of course we were mainly interested in famous stones in the building. There are several works by Jan Steen and a very recognizable drawing "Stones" by Dick Bruna from 2003 is part of the collection.

The Rijksmuseum is one of the Netherlands' most famous museums and houses an impressive collection of 17th-century Dutch art as well as other works of art from around the world.

Although the Rijksmuseum is a large building, it is also easily accessible for cyclists. There is also a bicycle parking garage directly at the museum where you can safely park your bike.

At the Rijksmuseum you'll find an incredible collection of Dutch art, including works by Rembrandt, Vermeer and Frans Hals. The exhibitions are very informative and offer a deep insight into the history of the Netherlands and its culture.

Another highlight of the Rijksmuseum is the impressive architecture of the building itself. It was built in the 19th century and is a great example of Dutch architecture.

The Rijksmuseum has a cycle highway DIRECTLY through the building - reason enough to stop here and definitely take a look at the fantastic collection of Rembrandt, van Gogh, but also modern painters!
Tip: Be sure to get your tickets online, then entry will be much quicker.

The wonderful and amazing Rijksmuseum of The Netherlands. Probably one of the most famous in the world. Absolutely worth a visit, but maybe not while being on a bike trip, although the cycling path through it, is quite funny and ridiculous at the same time.
