Families beware: If you want to eat out with your three cheese highs, head towards Runway 34. The family-friendly flight experience restaurant is located in a glass hangar next to runway 34 at Zurich Airport.

You can reach the restaurant via a finger dock and - just like at the airport check-in - you will be received with a boarding pass. The path continues into the dining room, where - and this is unique in the Swiss gastronomy scene - there is an airplane in the middle of the room. Your children are guaranteed to be wide-eyed. A few steps take you to the interior of the plane, where you can admire the original cockpit.

When hunger calls, you have to take a seat. It's a good thing that the journey continues at the table. Younger guests receive a coloring sheet that stimulates the imagination with its travel subjects. So the whole family can indulge in holiday memories or make up stories while eating.
