Mortemer Abbey is a former Cistercian monastery founded in the 12th century by King Henry I of England. The abbey is located in the heart of Lyons Forest, a beautiful beech forest offering numerous hiking and cycling trails. You can also fish in the abbey's ponds by reservation.
