Ca. 25 meters away from the trail, which was originally a tipper trail from Frederiksholm Brickworks, you will find the remains of Frederiksholmhytten, which was erected by a group of architecture students as a weekend hut in 1935. In 1943, the hut served as a hiding place for an Austrian Jew who was then helped on to Sweden. via Gilleleje. In 1949, the Cobra Group held its 2nd conference in the lodge. As a payment the members of the group decorated the wall and ceiling of the cabin. The scouts bought the cabin in 1959, which was already in very poor condition at that time. Moisture had ruined the mural. Fortunately, the ceiling was preserved and can be seen today at Sophienholm (sophienholm.dk/cobraloftet). The hut was demolished at the end of 1969. Unfortunately, plans to rebuild the hut as Cobram Museum unfortunately could not be realized. But when you visit the place today, you can see the remaining brick and the well (which has only been uncovered with a few branches).
