From here you also have a beautiful view of Boppard, Filsen and Osterspai! From here it's not far to the chairlift or the descent below it! This descent is worth it because you always have a great view of everything.

The Gedeonseck was named after the pastor and local poet Johann Baptist Berger, who lived in the 19th century. He was active in the St. Severus Church in Boppard. He also appeared as a poet under the stage name "Gedeon von der Heide". He often paused during his rides at the Gedeonseck and was inspired there to create new works.
