Here in the "Elysium", in the upper reaches of the Käsenbachtal close to the city and just below the Neuer Botanischer Garten, a three-tonne sculpture from the Franconian-Swabian Muschelkalk from the Tübingen Steinmetzwerkstatt Krauß was erected in 1986. It marks the geographical center of the state of Baden -Württemberg, which was calculated by the Stuttgart Land Survey Office in 1980.
