Beautiful area, very easy to walk, even with a stroller and wheelchair. From there there are plenty of opportunities to explore other paths - depending on your condition - good refreshment stops with a wonderful view of Olbrück Castle, from there you can start the hike very well, as there are good parking spaces. Beautiful in every season

The Rodder Maar is a nature reserve and offers many waterfowl a sheltered retreat.

The maar was renatured from 1996 to 1999. The castle ruins of Olbrück are the symbol of the Brohltal. The best view of the castle with the Maar in the foreground is from the Eifel ladder.
