Perhaps the thatched Dutch windmill was built after 1860 by a H.J. Peters, however, secured the date of the change of ownership to the miller family Blanck, namely the year 1892. The wing cap of this smaller mill is turned from the gallery with the help of the codend into the wind. Wilhelm Kleeberg reported in 1964 in his basic "Lower Saxony mill history" that the Kampener mill is still running with wind power and described it as "... a windmill worth preserving". Still in full commercial use around 1960, today it is completely intact with all its technology. However, you only grind for your own use, only some products are available for sale and are delivered in small quantities to end consumers.

The Kampen windmill (gallery Dutch) was built in 1866 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2016. In the beginning, only the octagonal mill body was created, later the storage building to the left of the windmill. There was a sawmill on the back of the mill, which was driven by wind power. In 1950 the building was built on the street side, in which there was an electrically driven grinding aisle and storage facilities. Today Mr. Blanck, owner of the entire mill, lives in this building.
