Köhlmoor Castle was newly built in 2014 and is located next to the airfield in Felde - Westerstede. The castle was named because the "Köhlmoor" used to be in this area. In the 17th/18th century, two families lived here who burned high-quality blacksmith's coal from the heavy peat. The style of the house, both inside and out, is based on historical Renaissance country castles. The exterior facade - a dream of white and yellow - is decorated with shell and stucco ornaments. A large mural adorns the entrance area. In the Crown Hall there is an exclusive marble fireplace from France and lavish chandeliers that complete the overall picture. The hall, which is around 6.50 m high, is ideal for weddings or other family celebrations with a separate counter and buffet room. Double doors lead you to the veranda.
