The Bad Kissinger Hütte is a member of the German Alpine Club (DAV) and is committed to the "This is how the mountains taste" initiative. The hut's hosts strive to source a large portion of their prepared dishes from local farmers and producers to ensure guests have an authentic Alpine experience. And the food is truly something to behold!

A hut with delicious food (the homemade cakes are highly recommended) and self-service, which helps ease the crowds a bit when it's busy. A typical sunny destination in the Tannheimer Valley, perhaps with Aggerenstein. In bad weather, it's much quieter and therefore almost more beautiful.

We recommend a hike to the Bad Kissinger Hütte from Füssener Jöchle via the Gräner Höhenweg. You will be rewarded in nice weather with an overwhelming view. The Füssener Jöchle can be mastered with the mountain railway, so there are still enough energy reserves left after a stop on the Bad Kissinger hut to climb the nearby 1986 meter high Aggenstein.

This was the first time I'd done a tour like this. Without knowing what to expect, I set off on this adventure with friends and was, as always, rewarded. The climb over the Reichenbachklamm offers a great opportunity to distract yourself from the difference in altitude that has to be climbed.
There is so much to discover along the way. In addition to orchids and other plants, you can also observe chamois, among other things.
Stopping off at the hut was another reward. The magic of the hut has a special flair. Just enjoy!
For me, it was definitely worth it.
