Roque Nublo is considered the symbol of Gran Canaria and measures about 80 meters high. In the time of the Guanches it was a sacred mountain and, as such, they built a place of worship at its foot where sacrifices were made to the Sun god.
It is worth a visit. Just the way there is already very beautiful. Also, from above there are good views of other nearby rock monoliths.
Tip: early in the morning there are usually not so many people. We were almost the only visitors and we were able to enjoy Roque Nublo without problems.
