Beautiful view from the Braunsbedra observation tower of the marina and the Geiseltalsee, a former opencast mine. I was able to take a look at the Geiseltalsee that was being created back in 2003, and there was still a little less water in it.

The 15 meter high wooden lookout tower "Leonhard" is located above the (still emerging) marina in Braunsbedra. The view is great.

The walk around the lake is lovely, make a detour to Cafe Alfreds in Braunsbedra at the Neumark observation tower. The ice cream is really delicious and so is the cake. 🎂 🍦
