    The Stauferburg from the 12th century, which has been restored today, consists of a lookout tower, imposing curtain walls, a castle well that is more than 60 meters deep and a good place to stop for refreshments. The magnificent panoramic view of the old town of Königsberg, the Steigerwald, the Hassgau and the Rhön is worth the climb alone.
