Beautifully situated and rewarding lake, which can be well circumnavigated. To the lake belongs to parts of the Berlin Wall Trail with a turbulent history from times of the Cold War. A memorial booth with information informs about a flight story. Nearby there is the Sacrow Castle Park with two other attractions. Who wants to translate from Wannsee by ferry has two options with very different travel times (please inform in advance): either with the Potsdam water taxi from Krughorn or the BVG ferry from Wannsee to Kladow and then 4.5 km hike south.

Very rewarding lake that you can walk around wonderfully. The paths are good and easy to walk on, but not barrier-free. Afterwards, a walk in the Königswald or in the Sacrow Castle Park is worthwhile.
