The Kasbah Timidarte is run by the TASKALA association. It is an NGO project with the goal of development and democracy.

The Timidarte there is located in the Draa Valley. A hike through the Palmerie (palm gardens on the river bank is definitely worth it.

Improve adult literacy
    Repairing a classroom
    The construction of school toilets
    The foundation of a breeding project for D'Mann sheep by women
    The establishment of a school canteen
    The construction and installation of a kindergarten (preschool)
    Implementation of an organic farming project
    Part of the development of the kasbah

Each member makes three contributions to the projects:

    project identification
    Financial contribution
    Formation of the management committee for each project
    Monitor project progress

Development is supported by an ERASMUS project. Young people from Germany (Dresden), Estonia, Spain and Morocco have a practical part here. 2020 will e.g. the village's old mosque was secured and restoration started. Literally at the last minute.
