The canoe department is one of the largest in the club with over 100 members.

We are a fun group - diverse.

We have young and old, big and small,

Paddlers and non-paddlers, children, singles, couples, families, men and women. We all have one thing in common: the joy of water sports in nature, whether on sparkling white water or on idyllic, calm rivers. Of course, we are also a member of the Bavarian and German Canoe Association, which means our paddlers have access to the association's training courses and supra-regional activities.

Our training area and the boathouse are located on the Rednitz near the Ferna Bridge in the city triangle of Nuremberg, Fürth and Oberasbach. Reachable by various bus lines at the Fürth-Süd stop.

Since the site is in the narrower water protection zone, parking is prohibited there. Cars can be parked near the entrance in the SpVgg Nürnberg parking lot on the other side of Rothenburgerstr. be turned off. From there you can reach us on a footpath under the bridge.
