The gorge can be seen very well from the two glass lookout points. The view into one of the deepest gorges in La Palma is beautiful.
Since 2021 there is also a zip line. This slide is 600m long and is open Saturday and Sunday 10am-2pm and 4pm-6pm Reservations via tirolinacanarias.com.

The Izcagua Barranco is one of the mightiest and deepest barrancos on the west coast. You can see it well from the glass viewing platforms next to the Mercadillo de Puntagorda. Coming from Las Tricias you can also cross it in its upper part on the GR 130 path. Further towards the coast it is impassable.
