Getting There
The tourist information office in town is sometimes open, but don’t rely on it. From there, you can take a bus to the starting point of the hike (Las Horquetas) for 6,000 CLP or to Coyhaique for 8,000 CLP. The bus is scheduled to arrive at 7:30 AM, but it often comes later (around 8:15 AM) because it picks up passengers all over town. It's best to book the bus the day before via WhatsApp: +56 9 8747 2174.
Alternatively, hitchhiking to the start of the hike is also a great option and widely used by hikers.
Park Entrance & Registration
Entrance Fees:
1 day: 18,000 CLP
2 days: 24,000 CLP
3+ days: 28,000 CLP
(Prices are for foreign visitors and include campground use inside the park.)
Registration: Sign in at the Las Horquetas parking area at the park entrance.
Payment: Pay the entrance fee at the exit of the park on the last day.
