This section is a lovely flowing section of gravel which transitions from wide gravel road into high plains singletrack gravel later on. There is a turn off where you will need to keep straight on rather than following the sharp left hand turn down a hill, this is hard to see as the road has been remodelled, but the GPS file is correct. Don't forget to stop for a photo with the Atlas Mountains rising snowcapped in the background.
The section starts with a gravel road, which at a sharp left hand turn changes into a track, (be careful to find the route rather than descending a little first as I did). This gravel track is a lovely goat trail with wonderful views of the Atlas Mountains over your left shoulder.
