The water tower built in 1906 is the landmark of the municipality Wöllstein. He stands on the Höllberg above the Appelbach. Since the new water storage tank was put into operation in 1977, the listed historic tower has since served as a lookout tower, making it one of the popular destinations in Rheinhessen Switzerland.

The tower has been open to the public since its renovation; please see my photo for opening hours.
The renovation also included the addition of a stage and seating area outside, which will be used for smaller performances during the summer months when it officially opens in 2025. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to attend an event yet, but that should change in 2026. 🙂
