The OutdoorPark Lauschhütte is something very special. In addition to the restaurant in the old forester's lodge, there is a climbing forest, an archery course and tree houses for overnight stays. Those who prefer it rather spartan, may also set up his own tent on the large lawn next to the forester's house.

We actually wanted to camp at the eavesdropping hut, but unfortunately my shoes dissolved. The staff there were all super nice and have still tried to glue the shoes back, so we also pack the last leg of the Soonwaldsteig. Unfortunately it did not hold true, then they organized a ride to Bingen.

After the longer climb from Rheinböllen, we came to the Lauschhütte, a popular destination for excursions and refreshments. With friendly hospitality and delicious beer, we were quickly restored.
