With the Mexikoplatz you stand on one of the most beautiful city squares in Berlin. Two fountains splash merrily and invite you to settle down on a bench. If you want to have a snack, you will find a delicious ice cream parlor right here.

There is a weekly market here every Saturday.

Mexikoplatz is a town and jewelry square with rental and commercial buildings and the forecourt of Mexikoplatz S-Bahn station in Berlin's Zehlendorf district. It was built from 1905 to 1907 and renovated from 1985 to 1987. The square was created as a symmetrical ensemble that is divided in half by the Argentine Allee. On each side there is a block of buildings with fountains and flower borders, which is mirrored on the other side. It wasn't until 1959 that the square got its current name.

The following streets meet here: Am Schlachtensee, Argentinische Allee, Beerenstraße, Bülowstraße, Limastraße and Mexikoplatz. The houses on the square are under monument protection, the Mexikoplatz is designated as a garden monument.

Beautiful place: it is worth staying here. There are restaurants. The S-Bahn takes you to Wannsee and Frohnau.
