One of the most beautiful routes with many meters in altitude in Schleswig-Holstein.
Alternative route, not so nice (more traffic) but also a great climb is the route from Eutin-Sielbeck via Nüchel and Kirchnüchel to Bergfeld. I also created it as a highlight.

From the other side (Sagau to Bergfeld) it is nicer (landscape as well as traffic) to climb up but from Sielbeck to Bergfeld over the Nüchels it is steeper and more demanding. Highly recommended if you want to train some altitude meters with us in the lowlands.
I submit meaningful pictures, have never made any because the section is not so scenic.
