    The Neue Seehütte (also Seehütte or Höllentaler Holzknechthütte) is an ÖTK mountain hut and is located on the high plateau of the Rax at 1,643 meters in Lower Austria. It lies at the foot of the Trinksteinsattel and west of the Preinerwand.

              Unfortunately, that was it with the Seehütte - it has been closed since July 1, 2021, as there is no longer a tenant. The toilet and rubbish bin are in terrible condition - pfuipfuipfui!

                              Sign saying it was closed on Monday and Tuesday when I was there. Toilet was however still open and working, but I couldn't find any drinking water taps

                                Order at the counter outside the hut, specifying your table number, and food will be delivered to your table.
                                Significantly less crowded than at the Otto-Haus.
