In advance, it is helpful to print out the individual articles or to take them with you on the go. Otherwise, the path itself is very informative. Website of the municipality: Citizens project of the municipality of Viereth-Trunstadt
Literally all roads lead to Rome, which roads lead to humanity, friendship, freedom and lasting peace?
All terms that quickly cross our lips, but whose meaning and preciousness only become conscious to those who lack or have lost these humane values. Those who have to live with daily violence or who have lost their homeland through war.
That is why citizens of the community have come together to create a path whose real meaning is these ethical values. The thought: the statement - the human right - should always be in the foreground. The 30 articles should be "visible and descriptive", they should be "understandable" - this was her vision. After intensive considerations and many hours of planning, the concept for the "path of human rights" was created. Together with local artists, stations were created in stone, wood, metal and graffiti. The artists brought their interpretation or fantasy into the project. The "Path of Human Rights" became financially feasible and feasible thanks to many donors, public sponsors and many voluntary supporters. Without this, the "path of human rights" would not exist today. On the nationally unique and varied hiking trail, the content of the 30 articles of human rights is made known and clearly explained to the hiker.
