Johanngeorgenstädter Schwibbogenfest on December 13, 2014, the new large pyramid was inaugurated and set in motion for the first time.

With the claim to create a new quality of an outdoor pyramid, the construction has been prepared for more than a year and thought has been given to design, form and layout. On August 27, 2014 the groundbreaking ceremony began to build the largest pyramid in the Ore Mountains.

With a height of over 26 m and a wingspan of 11 m, this giant made of concrete and stainless steel is looking for competition worldwide.

The new attraction, like the giant flying arch, was donated by the Johanngeorgenstadt entrepreneur Siegfried Ott.
