Rosengarten offers hikers and nature lovers numerous excursion options, so you can visit the erratic stones in the Frankfurt city forest, which are under nature protection.
In the vicinity of the Eduardspring forester's lodge, there are granite boulders known as mushroom and cap, owing to their shapes.
Other stones are the twin stone Rosengarten with 70 tons, the pulpit stone with 150 tons, the Näpfchenstein, the Große Stein, the large and small Försterstein, the erratic boulder and the Trassenstein.
These stones weigh between 5 and 28 tons.
In the city forest there is a wildlife park to discover, which was created on a former shooting range site.
Hikers on the hiking trails in the city forest can visit old pedunculate oaks, bathers can use the surrounding lakes.
