Great trail if you ride it in the right direction! I got in from "below" (uphill) and that was probably the wrong direction. The depressions after the lookout point "Schauinsland" were not passable for me from this direction, but this could also be due to my risk behavior and driving skills!

The path itself is challenging and varied. A real tip for experts!

The path is well secured, after a few bends or hills you have to reckon with cool but go through. Otherwise really a really nice path to the viewpoint Schauinsland and further on the road.

My tip: If you come up the mountain from Heimbach-Weis, do not take the sharp left turn just before the parking lot above. Drive over the parking lot past the barrier and then directly left and always straight. You can pick up speed quite well. At the end there is a T-junction, take the flow trail on the left and fly straight into the rabbit path. This extends the trail by a good 2 km. Have fun
