Mont Ventoux is of course an absolute "MUST" for every racing cyclist. And apart from the Tour de France hype surrounding this mountain, it is simply beautiful - great route from Bedoin first through the sparse oak forest, later through the barren limestone landscape with a view to Provence, which you have to experience.

And unless you're going uphill at racing pace, the gradient is much less dramatic than people say.

The view is great! Always watch out for the wind before going up. A fantastic mountain to train on.

Also drive up from Sault, very nice and not that difficult. Very nice climb. Different from all three sides and always beautiful. A must for every cyclist.
