Ingersauel is a hamlet that leads to the city of Lohmar. Until 1969 Ingersauel belonged to the formerly independent municipality Wahlscheid.
The Ingelsaueler mill was laid down in 1977 as part of the planning for the Naafbachtalsperre. The inn Ingersauler mill is now used as a residential building. It stands in the municipality of Seelscheid on the left Naafseite.

The Ingersaueler Mühle was called Naafer Mühle until after 1800. It belonged to the knights seat Seelscheid / Weiert and was sold in 1787 to Johann Peter Köhler from Effert. The latter leased the mill.
In 1871, the mill became the property of Franz Frackenpohl. The mill was operated by the Frackenpohl family as a grain, oil and sawmill.

The Ingersauer mill was built in 1645 and today houses a restaurant called the ‘Pfannkuchenmühle’. Remains of the milling equipment can still be seen there.
