Jump through time - Waone Interesni Kazki (2018)
In Itzsteinstraße 1–3, Mannheim-Neckarstadt, the mural by the artist WAONE Interesni Kazki, real name Vladimir Manzhos, from Kiev (Ukraine), with surrealistic approaches, stretches eight meters high and 12 meters wide over the three floors of the back of a block of flats. According to the artist, the motif is a metaphor for a journey through time. The trees in the area were only included in the picture at short notice.

The reserved artist did not want to comment on the meaning of this detailed, surreal world of images for the time being; he would rather allow the viewer a completely free, personal interpretation: “I'm not writing any description about the work here. First, I want to give you freedom to interpret it by your own.” He later revealed the idea behind the image on social media: the motif is a metaphor for time travel. “It's about the moment when your mind races so quickly that you can see the result of the series of numerous events.” It's about the moment when you can slow down time.
